The account purchased from a specific region must be logged in using the corresponding regional IP, otherwise it may cause account anomalies.

The Microsoft emails used on this site are divided into two types: Outlook and Hotmail. Login URL: https://outlook.live.com. These two types of emails may be temporarily locked if not logged in for a long time or logged in from a different location. When logging in again, you will be required to verify via SMS as shown below:

At this point, don’t panic — the email account is OK and completely fine. Just follow the prompts, click “Next,” and enter a phone number that can receive SMS verification to unlock it. This phone number will not be bound to the email; it’s purely for verification and unlocking. As shown below:

Once unlocked, click “Continue” to log in. If the email has not been linked to a recovery email, it will prompt you to bind one within 7 days. If you plan to use it long-term, bind a recovery email. For temporary use, you can choose to skip it for now.

You can either enter your own email or skip it.

Finally, just make sure to click “No, thanks” in the step shown below to log in to your email normally.
